Ohio State Pocket T-Shirt

Once again, on Pinterest and Etsy, I noticed many t-shirts for sale that have either "Born in Ohio" on the front, or a pocket t-shirt. I decided to start off small-scale. I found a grey t-shirt at Target that is a "poly-blend". I next found an outline of the state of Ohio online and copied/pasted it into Microsoft Word so that I could change the size. Once I figured out a size that I liked, I printed it off. I bought red fabric at Joann's as well as white iron on transfer fabric interfacing (it comes by the yard).I cut out the shape of Ohio both on the red fabric and the interfacing and followed the directions for ironing it on the t-shirt via the interfacing instructions. After the fabric was ironed on, I went all around the perimeter of the state using a close zig-zag stitch on my sewing machine. I have received many compliments on the shirt and have even made some for friends. It was definitely a fun and easy project!
